WHAT DO THESE BUTTONS MEAN ?
The MRE website uses coloured buttons to help you quickly see where to go, what you can do next, and give you information. The buttons you will see on the site are shown here as a guide to assist you.
The GO FOR IT button takes you to the next page or information about an item. It will also activate the Currency Selection and the Keyword Search. GO FOR IT does not mean you are buying an item, just getting more information.
The MORE button next to an item in your product search results will take you to all the information about that item and the option to buy it. This is where you will see a bigger picture of the item, the pricing, shipping weight, and any extra details we have included for your interest.
The IN STOCK button shows that we have an item available for immediate delivery.
The SOLD OUT button means we have no stock today, but you can still order this item by adding it to your Reserve List for delivery when we get more stock.
The COMING SOON button indicates new products announced by manufacturers, but not yet released. We try and include the expected date for new releases, but cannot guarantee the exact availability information from manufacturers. You can order COMING SOON items by adding them to your Reserve List for delivery as soon as they are available.
The SPECIAL OFFER button shows items that we have available at cheaper than normal prices. These are often end-of-line stock, or items reduced in price by our suppliers. SPECIAL OFFERS are normally only available while stocks last.
The ADD TO WISHLIST button helps you to keep track of items you are interested in. You can use this as a shopping list to remind you of items you may buy in the future, or as a gift list when people ask what to buy for your birthday or Xmas ! Adding items to the WISHLIST has no effect on your Shopping Basket and is not a contract to buy anything. Just a useful way to remind yourself of the goodies available…….
The ADD TO BASKET button will add the items selected to your Shopping Basket ready for you to go to Checkout. You can select how many of each item to add to your basket, and you can continue to shop and add as many different items as you want. You will still have a chance to take items out of your basket if you change your mind.
The VIEW BASKET button lets you look in your Shopping Basket at any time to check what you have bought. You can change your selection here by taking items out of your basket or changing the number of items you want to buy.
The CHECKOUT button will take you to the final stage, buying the items you have chosen. If you have not yet Registered, you have to do so at this stage, or Login if you are already registered. Checking Out confirms your sale, and your order will be processed and delivered using the registered information you have entered. You will be asked to pay for your items when you checkout, and will receive an email confirming your order.
